But even worse than in the bad way, which I will describe below.
Bad way
One of my pet peeves is when people deflect compliments and are all like “I don’t think I’m awesome.” You are too damned awesome and you better deal with it.
Basically what I hate is humility, which I lack completely.
Even worse way
When people complement me I’m just like “Yes. I know.”
Person: Hey, that jacket looks really good on you.
Me: I know.
Person: I really like your glasses.
Me: Yeah, everyone does.
Way I wish I could respond to compliments
“Oh, well thank you very much, that means a lot!”
