Break a leg.

A friend of mine is stressing out about a test in a class that I took last semester. She’s asking me if it’s possible to pass the tests with just the slides from class, and without the book since she doesn’t have access to it right now.

I told her yeah, I never even bought the book or took notes in class and I got high B’s and low A’s (I know there shouldn’t be apostrophes there but don’t get me started on the frailties of written representations of language).

Then she told me that she doesn’t go to the lecture either.

Oh no.

Oh no, oh no, oh no.

There are a lot of people who don’t go to class and then just read the book and show up for tests. I’m the opposite. I don’t buy the book but go to every class, and that’s how I get all A’s (and B’s and C’s).
