When I was 15, I wrote a script (fan-fiction) for a Metroid movie, riddled with typos and grammar errors. The first two lines of the script literally contradicted each other. It followed the plot of the first Metroid game, except I detailed Samus Aran’s orphaning and raising by the Chozo. A Chozo scientist, in particular, who surgically altered himself so that he could produce human speech in order to communicate with her at the cost of never being able to speak his own race’s language again, became her protector and gifted her with her suit. It also featured Adam the computer whiz before he became an actual computer as Samus’ love interest.
But I still think it would make a better movie than half the action flicks that get made today.
