A greater pop song does not exist, it is perfect in every way. It is catchy, lyricly competent, and most importantly, it avoids the shortcoming of many other pop songs in that it is just the right length. I can’t tell you the many times I’ve absolutely loved a song except for its length (or lack thereof), and the simple solution of putting it on repeat only serves to lessen its value by breaking up the rythm and continuity.
