In the flashback, Brennan is working on a skull of what she says is “Ardepithicus ramidus kadabba” (which is now considered a separate species, btw, but it’s ok because at the time of the flashback kadabba was considered a subspecies of ramidus), but the skull is obviously not from the Ardepithicus genus and instead the skull of a Cro Magnon. Jeez, talk about egregious errors.
